The Breathitt Area Technology Center would like to thank Nick Napier and Carquest for their continued support of the Automotive Technology program.
Recently, Carquest Auto Parts installed a program at the ATC that allows students to learn to become a parts department counterperson. The students have the ability to look up parts, see if they are in stock, view photos and see technical information. Students can use this program to build a repair order to present to a customer or to estimate costs for a project.
The addition of this program further expands the offerings of the ATC and will help provide more opportunities for students seeking jobs. Mr. Napier was instrumental in getting the program installed for the school. Hutch Automotive and Tire Works are participating in the co-op program and have 2 students currently working at their store. We value the support and commitment from all of those that help make our school a better place.
Thanks again to Hutch Automotive and Carquest for their support and for being a partner to the school.
